Eleague TV

Widely known as one of the first esports tournament organizers that has most legitimized the sport, Eleague found itself in need of a formalized brand identity.

The world of esports is a complex business that often leaves tournament organizers at the mercy of game publishers and sponsors, which called for an intelligent and flexible brand system to give Eleague the most legitimacy amongst their competitors.

It’s the brand prepared for anything.

To create consistency in a world filled with the competing game brands, sponsor brands we built a system filled with enough variation to create consistency. Specific graphic elements based off the most ownable aspects of Eleague’s existing carry the load of delivering on this consistency.

Logo

Eleague has a rich history of inviting people into a sport that can feel foreign or aggressive. A simplified logo laid the foundation for a visual device that represented a “window” into gaming, bringing that story to life.

Event badges

Event badges were Eleague’s main touchpoint with their fans, and were also the element they found they had the least control over. A badge system was built on a scale that gave Eleague the ability to create a custom badge based on the amount of control they had from event to event. Using one of the slashes from eleague’s logo we built an abstract pennant.

 Rollout

Esports fans typically identify with a game or a team more than the organizer. So everything for rollout was designed to act as an invitation or banner for attendees to identify with.
